Karlie Kloss Talks Leaving Victoria's Secret + Joining Judaism In British Vogue August Cover Story

Superstar Karlie Kloss covers the August 2019 issue of British Vogue, lensed by Steven Meisel. Karlie wears a Versace sweater and Bulgari jewelry styled by Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful, who chooses a fabulous gown by Marc Jacobs for one preview shot and Dior checks for another.

Now for the real story, which is Karlie delivering a loving gut punch to Victoria’s Secret, its second in two days. On Monday, NIKE made it known that they now sell more bras in North America than any other retailer.

Alex Israel is a multimedia artist, writer, and eyewear designer born and based in Los Angeles. His proximity to the local film and media industries inspires his large, colorful airbrushed paintings of abstract gradients and Los Angeles skies, his self-portraits, painted on shaped fiberglass panels, and multimedia installations constructed from movie-house props. Luxury giant Louis Vuitton has returned to Alex Israel for a new FW19 collaboration consisting of eight pieces, in a collection that includes scarves, shawls, blankets, and a bandeau.

Supermodel activist, philanthropist and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss fronts the campaign, offering a fresh look at Karlie after her late June wedding bash at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. Karlie wed Joshua Kushner in a small ceremony in upstate New York in October 2018 before inviting the couple’s famous friends to a weekend of festivities in Wyoming.

Kloss is an American success story admired by millions, which is why AOC was stunned playing catch up on the story of the Kushner family’s long resistance to bringing Karlie into the Kushner family through her marriage to Josh Kushner, Jares’s younger brother.

Understandably, the media has focused on Jared and Ivanka detailed from Vicky Ward’s new book ‘Kushner, Inc’, where she describes the President’s son-in-law and daughter as appearing to be “disdainful of rules, laws, and ethics.” You got that right, Ms. Ward, a contributing editor to Town & Country, shared the Kushner family response to Karlie Kloss — including the fact that they refused to meet her for six years.

A Week Of Karlie Kloss 'Project Runway' + 'Kode With Karlie' News Is Buried By Ivanka Tweet

A Week Of Karlie Kloss 'Project Runway' + 'Kode With Karlie' News Is Buried By Ivanka Tweet

Season 17 of ‘Project Runway’ premiered on Bravo this week. No longer on Lifetime where the show was hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, Project Runway 2019 on Bravo is hosted by Instagram hit, supermodel Karlie Kloss, who willingly gave up her Victoria’s Secret Wings and flew the coup to follow her own business-savvy and philanthropist-activist instincts. Think Kode With Klossy tech summer camps.

Alas, the media and its readers have one obsession according to Google: It’s not clear who is driving the Karlie news car, and I fear it’s media insuring Ivanka Trump’s gushing dominance of Karlie’s headlines. Yes, they are snarky, because we all feel that Ivanka never misses an opportunity to ride Karlie’s progressive coattails in the news. Get a grip, Ivanka. Karlie’s well-earned hato-effect will somehow not ruboff on you. But we could choose — indeference to Karlie Kloss — to let Ivanka’s gushing Twitter commentary go silently into the night.

Besides her ‘Project Runway’ debut, other headline that got our attention is Karlie taking to the streets of Manhattan to share the news that applications are open for her Kode With Klossy tech summer bootcamp. The snaps are priceless, and we must ask: “Seriously, can you see the other blonde in this convo running around Soho with her mobile signup stand in tow, getting the word out on her determination to teach girls to code. If you say “yes’, we say “You’re fired!” ~ Anne

Bubble, the new online destination for curated, innovative health & wellness products is live. Bubble features the best-tasting, highest-integrity health foods designed for a variety of foodie needs and lifestyles, including Keto, Paleo, Vegan, and Gut health. With new seed funding from supermodel and entrepreneur, Karlie Kloss, NBA star, Miles Plumlee, and OpenNest’s investor Tyler Wakstein, Bubble plans to introduce more independent food brands to its marketplace and launch its own branded products, including their first release of Hella, a new, better-for-you cocoa hazelnut spread.

“At Bubble, we’re on a mission to refresh ‘clean eating’ by removing the limits of previous health food marketplaces so people can redefine the way they shop, discover, and eat food,” said Jessica Young, Bubble’s Founder & CEO. “We want to be the place someone first hears about what is happening in health food and can buy it. Our marketplace is designed to be the one-stop shop for vetted health products, curated to fit individual dietary and functional needs. We are creating our own world in the future of food, a bubble, where things are easy, transparent and protected.”

“I’ve always been passionate about discovering food options and ingredients that are both delicious and good for you," Kloss said. New Bride Karlie Kloss and Momofuku Milk Bar's Christina Tosi's Wedding Cake Go Way Back

Today’s brides have a passion for naked cakes and Momofuku Milk Bar is leading the trend, offering patisseries for wedding days!

The Milk Bar made big news recently, supplying the wedding cake for Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner’s quiet, surprise nuptials last week for 80 guests in upstate New York. The couple will hold a much larger reception in the spring.

The Milk Bar wedding cake is no surprise for Karlie because she has worked closely with the brand in the past and is good friends with the bakery's owner Christina Tosi. In 2012, with help from Tosi, Kloss created her very own Milk Bar cookie called Karlie's Perfect 10 Kookie. At the time, all the proceeds earned from the treats benefited FEED Project. The newlywed's special creation is still available at Milk Bar.

In a late September 2018 interview on Eater, Christina Tosi shares her strategies for fundraising and growth.
