Michael Wolff And The Age-Old 'She's A Slut' Shaming Of Nikki Haley's Meteoric Rise

Michael Wolff And The Age-Old 'She's A Slut' Shaming Of Nikki Haley's Meteoric Rise

'Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski shut down an interview with 'Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House' author Michael Wolff on Thursday over her claim that Wolff insinuated strongly that he had accused U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley of having an affair with President Donald Trump.

The conversation initially focused on the Russian investigation but then turned to remarks Wolff made last week on HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher.”  Wolff claimed to know that Trump was having an affair and pointed viewers to a passage located near "the end of the book" where her name would be found.

Readers zoomed in on a passage in which Wolff wrote that Haley “had become a particular focus of Trump’s attention, and he of hers” and another in which he wrote “that [Haley], with requisite submission, could be his heir apparent.”  Egging them on, Wolff continued: “Now that I've told you, when you hit that paragraph, you're gonna say, 'Bingo.'”

Conducted June 29-30, beginning hours after Trump called Brzezinski 'low IQ Mika' before writing that she was 'bleeding badly from a face-lift' when visiting his Palm Beach, Florida club over the New Year's holiday., the results included strong condemnation from Republicans.

The poll includes much additional and interesting questioning of Americans on a variety of topics. Study the results Toplines: http://politi.co/2tG5Cq8 | Crosstabshttp://politi.co/2tNM1Vj

Joe & Mika Join Harvard Institute of Politics As Visiting Fellows Summer/Fall 2017

MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough wore matching blue and white checked shirts on this morning's broadcast, carrying their engaged togetherness to a new level. The duo is clearly positioning themselves as the kind of bridge that America needs between a Conservative Republican (Scarborough) and Progressive Democrat (Brzezinski). It's not a bad idea because depending on just how intensely the Sanders camp holds the Democratic party in check, an alliance between the giant American middle is possible between educated liberal Democrats and moderate Republicans.

Harvard Kennedy's School's Institute of Politics (IOP) has announced that the 'Morning Joe' duo will serve as Visiting Fellows this summer and fall.

“For several years, ‘Morning Joe’ has been at the forefront of covering millennials in politics, and at Harvard they will engage directly with the young people who will reconnect America and serve as future political leaders,” said Congressman Bill Delahunt, Interim Director of the Institute of Politics.

'Morning Joe' Roasts Kellyanne Conway, Saying She Detested Trump, The Presidential Candidate

Morning Joe' Roasts Kellyanne Conway, Saying She Detested Trump, The Presidential Candidate

'Morning Joe' hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski literally harpooned Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway on Monday's broadcast. Mika -- who has banned Conway from the show over her lying -- said that she heard Conway denounce candidate Trump in private before he was elected.

“She would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off, and she would say ‘Blech, I need to take a shower,’ because she disliked her candidate so much,” Ms. Brzezinski said of Ms. Conway, after describing the White House Conway as part of spectacle she calls 'politics porn'.

Joe Scarborough, Ms. Brzezinski’s co-host and fiancé, affirmed Conway's statements, saying that post-interview she echoed the statements, saying that Ms. Conway said she had only taken the job for money and that her relationship with the future president would be short-lived.

Morning Joe Hosts Joe Scarborough & Mika Brzezinski Confirm Engagement

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are engaged to be married, cementing their relationship at a weekend proposal at the scenic Bar Bellini at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. Brzezinski celebrated her 50th birthday on the romantic trip to the south of France and Monaco.

Scarborough remarked to The Hollywood Reporter last month that he and Brzezinski "have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too." Scarborough divorced his second wife in 2013 and Brzezinski divorced her husband in 2016. In the same interview, Scarborough made it clear that even their pets were co-mingling.

Should 'Morning Joe' Get A Stiffer Lip? You Loved Trump Calling In Every Day

'Morning Joe' host Joe Scarborough and his sidekick Mika Brzezinski were miffed over accusations that they "partied with Trump" at Mar-a-Lago on New Year's Eve. The show led the way in the rise of Donald Trump as a presidential candidate, turning their show over to Trump on a nearly daily basis.

“Partied? You’re very good at pushing fake news," Scarborough knifed back to Sopan Deb, a former CBS reporter now at the Times. "You should write for CNN. Apparently making up facts is fine if you’re writing about us,” he replied, before launching into an explanation for why he was at Trump’s Palm Beach report. (He and his co-host, Mika Brzezinski, were trying to score an interview with the president-elect, he said, and this was the meeting time Trump gave them.) “One of the more entertaining aspects of media coverage of media is how so many who blast Trump for half truths attack us with half truths.”

Soon afterward, Scarborough’s NBC colleague Chuck Todd tweeted his own take on the Twitter tiff: “It really stinks to watch others continue help ruin the reputation of your industry. But fighting each other ...only hurts the democracy.” Scarborough issued a followup: “Yes. I find that people misrepresenting others and lying is indeed corrosive. I know you agree with me that facts matter,” he wrote.

Scarborough followed with an op-ed titled 'The Media's hypocrisy and hyperventilating in the age of Trump' for The Washington Post and an hour-long interview on CNN Money. Clearly the duo is hyper sensitive about accusations that they are in Trump's camp.
