Rudy Giuliani Sells His Soul & Reputation To Trump Misogyny & Egocentric White Male Nationalism

The asshat known as Rudi Giuliani, former mayor of New York, whose second wife Donna Hanover found out he was leaving her for the third wife Judith Nathan in a May,2000 New York press conference in Bryant Park, had a few choice words today about a woman president. I saw it live.

You see, Rudi Giuliani had a lot of style in telling wife #2 that she was toast, almost as much style as Giuliani's recent crude remark about immigrant dishwashers at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

Realistically, we shouldn't be upset that asshat Rudi Giuliani suggested today that Donald Trump would be a better president "than a woman". Is that any woman, Rudy? Or just Hillary Clinton who won the Senate seat you were seeking until your spectacular marital problems and prostate cancer caused you to retreat from your campaign. Was the problem really your health?

Funny . . . I know all kinds of men who carry on with prostate cancer, as women do with breast cancer. Look at Senator Claire McCaskill. She didn't miss a beat. Then again, your virility was very much threatened in that moment. Like Trump, you are a man who prides himself on a firm erection, and prostate cancer has a way of leveling the playing field. Temporarily, at least. I know . . having been praised for my sensitivity on the topic.

I'm wondering now if you scheduled that spectacular bit of New York drama, Rudy, because you knew you couldn't beat her. That seems more likely. You dropped out not for personal issues but because you knew that you couldn't beat her. September 11 hadn't happened yet, and you were not a popular mayor except with your high rollin' friends.

"Don’t you think a man who has this kind of economic genius is a lot better for the United States than a woman, and the only thing she’s ever produced is a lot of work for the FBI checking out her emails," the former New York City mayor said on ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos.

Donald Trump is no Warren Buffett, Rudi. He is no Bill Gates. He is a business loser and the only thing that has worked for him is selling himself. Yes, there he has been successful -- although never as a top tier brand.

Donald Trump has so moved into the sewer this past week, that I don't want to spend too much time on this post. But for his chief advocate Rudy Giuliani to say that Trump is better than a woman is the crudest high level declaration of misogyny I've heard in my years as a feminist and high-level corporate executive. I understand branding and marketing . . . and business excellence. America is filled with talented entrepreneurs and successful business people. Donald Trump is not one of them. He has scammed the system for all it's worth, and both Buffett and Gates would back me up off the record on this declaration.

As Harry Siegel asked in yesterday's Daily Beast, 'So Rudy Giuliani Really Wants to Go Out Like This?' In an earlier life as a New York prosecutor, Giuliana charged Manhattan real-estate Queen of Mean Leona Helmsley with tax fraud. After her infamous statement "only the little people pay taxes", Helmsley choked on her words.

In an earlier life, Rudy Guliani actually went after Donald Trump coach and mentor Roy Cohn, Joe McCarthy's henchman, for millions that he was hiding by putting assets in the names of others and living off a lavish expense account. In 1986 then-Manhattan US Attorney Rudy Giuliani filed suit seeking Cohn to pay $2 million in taxes, dating back to 1959, plus $5 million in interest. Cohn believed in paying no taxes and Trump signed on to his mentor's philosophy.

Sadly, Rudy Guiliani signed on to the Trump train, leaving his legacy tattered and torn. And the full depth of his own misogyny has been stripped naked as part of the truth serum spectacle we're witnessing across America, from sea to shining sea.

The Republican War on Women is real, and I know that our many college-educated Republican readers understand what I am saying. We will all send a "you're fired" message to Donald Trump.

Of course, the Donald will not go quietly into the night. But post-election, when he tries to discredit Hillary's presidential win by marshalling endless forces against her -- because Trump CANNOT accept rejection and lost of egocentric grandeur -- his pot belly and bald head under that orange mop will no longer deceive us. Note that many bald men have a host of sexy traits and make great partners and lovers. Still, the high testosterone levels can run wild without enlightenment and awareness.

As for Rudy Giuliani redeeming himself -- at least with educated women? The nail is in his coffin, even when we choose not to talk about his pugilistic, nationalistic, love of white male patriarchy. ~ Anne
