Bannon Promises That Feminism, Not Toxic Masculinity, Is Responsible For America's Demise

The mere fact that Harper's Bazaar would feature an article on the topic of toxic masculinity tells you the degree to which the female mindset in America is changing. Even the fashion industry is concerned about toxic masculinity. Oh yes. The Trump male posse can descend on us -- throwing stink bombs and calling us libtards -- but the facts are the facts in their non-factual universe. The jigs up, gentlemen.

When Trump was elected, Mr. Brexit Nigel Farage proclaimed: "The alpha males are back." That may be so, but large numbers of alpha males -- are the very definition of toxic masculinity -- and it's a masculinity that kills, no matter how the alt-right dresses it up.

More than other countries in the developed world, the American culture worships men with guns. They are conquerors of 'weaker men' and women are eager to have sex with them. In reality, men who commit mass shootings do not have the respect of the larger culture, but their "catastrophic sense of male entitlement" gives them admiration in their own equally toxic communities.

Of all the mass shootings since 1982, only three have been committed by women. While women comprise about 50 percent of the victims of mass shootings, female mass killers are “so rare that it just hasn’t been studied,” according to James Garbarino, a psychologist at Loyola University Chicago.

Almost 60 percent of victims of mass shootings are family members, dead at the hands of a man who is showing them who's boss. Automatic assault rifles are a great assist to a deranged male ego seeking to show his friends and family -- and the public at large -- that he will command their full attention in fear, if admiration is not available.

Alt-right men don't even take responsibility for their actions. Jordan Jereb, the leader of a white nationalist hate group responded to the Nikolas Cruz massacre, saying, “There’s a very real sense of feminism being a cancer. That could’ve played into what he did.”

Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon is quoted in the new, updated paperback version of Bloomberg writer Josh Green's 'Devil's Bargain' as saying the "anti-patriarchy movement" might "undo ten-thousand years of recorded history."

“You watch. The time has come. Women are gonna take charge of society,” Bannon said, according to Green. “And they couldn’t juxtapose a better villain than Trump. He is the patriarch. This is a definitional moment in the culture. It’ll never be the same going forward.”

The Cut dismisses Bannon's words, but many of us fear them. Dead bodies lying strewn in Florida, Texas, Las Vegas all across America confirm that primarily white men -- especially in large mass killings -- are in revolt.

Do not fear women wearing black dresses at the Golden Globes, as Bannon argues. Feminism is not the threat, as American women are not killers. Instead, beware of men carrying assault rifles in public, because THEY are the ones who are showing us just who is the BOSS! ~ Anne
