LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU, GEORGIA | We Are on the Move, Trumpers

On January 5, 2021 — the night before MAGA Voters tried to overthrow the US federal government, with defeated US president Donald Trump refusing to concede the presidential election to Joe Biden— Georgia voters sent two new Democratic senators to Washington: Jewish Sen. Jon Ossoff [l] and African-American Senior Pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church Sen. Raphael Warnock [r]. This honored senior pastor preaches as a US Senator at Martin Luther King Jr.'s former congregation in Atlanta.

Sen. Warnock was filling out the term of another Trump-appointed Republican senator for two years, when he won in 2021.

Tonight Georgia voters — including significant numbers of white Independent and white Republican voters in Georgia — joined Democrats to re-elect Sen. Warnock to a full six-year term as senator. This American thanks you deeply.

I wrote these passionate words on the night of January 6, 2020 after the insurrection and coup attempt against the US government. I am even more committed to these words tonight December 6, 2022 and have adapted them to this moment.

Georgia, you are leading the way forward, and so many white people support you all.

We are filled with gratitude for all your efforts to deal with every voting obstacle put in your way to build a multicultural coalition also embraced by huge numbers of ‘New South’ white voters.

We all understand that a better Republican candidate than Herschel Walker very probably would have created a different outcome. Still, Georgia, those red counties are turning blue in unbelievable ways and fast. I am finding a map to share with readers, because nothing says more about Georgia than that map.

Your determination is mind-boggling, and I am with you at every turn in the road, both the tears and the celebrations.

In this moment many of us are united our commitment to a multicultural democracy, one that can show the world the most incredible country we can be.

America is ready to shine again — we are shining under our truly-inspiring US President Joe Biden. But the fight is real and it will be probably be dangerous and frightening. I’ve had nightmares about the coming days.

This is NOT Dixie anymore, Trumpers!

You brought it HOME GEORGIA Democrats. Independents and Republicans — TWO new Senate seats in 2020 and Re-electing Sen. Warnock to a six-year full term tonight December 6, 2022.

This American is sending so much love your way, so PROUD to be your VIRGINIA sister in this goddamn forever fight for social and racial justice in America.

This White woman lives in the NEW SOUTH now, Trumpers. And I’m not standing down. You can put your big, bad guns and burning torches in my face and shoot me. That includes you, too, Kanye West, aka Ye.

I do not have to forgive your pal, Hitler, as you said today, Ye. You and your tiki torch carrying friends don’t even accept the Holocaust as reality. Probably because you say proudly that you’ve never read a book.

You are with the haters, Kanye. Don’t tell me that these men above love Jews. You are an anti-Semite, Ye. And now I hear you’re singing about so-called Karens like me. You are pathetic, Kanye.

And YOU are giving me a lecture on how to be a good Christian, telling me today, Kanye, that the Bible will be running America in the future.

I refuse to give you the democratic ideals of America because you want a theocracy like the Taliban running this country.

I won’t be packing an assault rifle, but this woman is also willing to die for America.

We’ll see who’s more fearless, Kanye, while you hide under your hood like the KKK.

We are determined to create a just America, and we are NOT standing down in fear, NOT bowing to your DISGRACE! And the vile love you all have for Hitler — and Putin, too.

I may live in Virginia now, but this is no longer the home of the Confederacy.

I came here in peace, Trumpers and Mr. MAGA, Hitler-lover Kanye West. But I DID come to FIGHT YOU for my vision of America. ~ Anne
