'Pure Imagination' Roams at Glyn Cywarch in Wales by Sean Thomas in Vogue UK

British Vogue’s September 2023 issue shares a fashion story ‘Pure Imagination’, styled by Amanda and Tallulah Harlech. The story promotes Glyn Cywarch, the Harlech family’s estate in northwestern Wales.

Amanda Harlech invites multitalented guests that include Moon Bedeaux, Miranda Brooks, Francesca Hayward, Alfie Husband, Ella Richards, Tish Weinstock & Lydia West to the 400-year-old estate that is just HOME and a place they can roam in an authentic “grand and storied” British experience .

AOC hates to be critical, but we are totally disappointed by the lack of coordination in the release of this lovely fashion story. The release of ‘Pure Imagination’ — and most fashion stories in this September issue — defies how the process works today.

Updated Aug. 27, 2023: Here is the story on British Vogue.

Granted, AOC works extra hard to add value to every fashion post. But we find no references on the British Vogue website or IG, or Google search leading into the website about this story and the people featured. I cannot find Edward’s EIC letter on the September issue to save my life. They are typically filed in News.

We’ve been through every Instagram connection — including Amanda Harlech’s [IG]. It’s a missed opportunity to tell what could be a vibrant story about talented young people and this storied restoration. AND the farming methods, if they are sustainable.

Harlech wants you to stay at Glyn Cywarch, so here is the link. All in all, AOC would have written an expansive story about this fashion event. But we have nothing to work with. And it’s August 22 to write about a September issue. No one is jumping the line here at the end of July.

In the hands of Louis Vuitton or Dior, this would have been a totally-coordinated content and information release. ~ Anne
