Here Magazine spends a weekend in Aburi, Ghana’s Lesser-Known Country. This beautiful image and story feature informs us in a non-commercial focus on the mountainous Eastern region of Ghana. We imagine staying at The Tree House B&B in Aburi, site of many images in the story.

One of my favorite new shows is Washington, DC-raised, Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy’s Sunday night show ‘Nomad’ on CNN.

Tonight, McCoy — the second African American [note that McCoy is biracial] Master Sommelier in America — is in Ghana. Learn more about McCoy on the CNN ‘Nomad’ show page.

In this long CNN video, we meet Carlton McCoy the man and also his hopes for the show as a cultural stepping stone of human understanding. McCoy is brilliant and a believer in ‘Ubuntu’, warm and articulate —a true humanist in every dimension.

A top luxury brand needs to back this man NOW.

I’m speaking to you, LVMH. Searching, I don’t see that Virgil Abloh and Carlton McCoy ever knew each other, but they are spirit brothers in every dimension. Carlton McCoy will become one of the most prominent voices in American culture. You can take that prediction to the bank.
