Ahmed paints an intoxicating portrait of Alaïa’s Rue de Moussy headquarters for an off the couture show calendar presentation of Pieter Muller’s interpretation of the beloved designer’s name, three years after his death. It’s raining in Paris this July evening, but the clouds part for the audience consisting of 200 fashion world heavyweights including Raf Simons, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Farida Khelfa, Monica Belucci and about 200 more Alaïa lovers.
