Valentina Sampaio Sizzles In Alexandre Herchcovitch For HOPE Lingerie F/W 2017 Campaign

Then: Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio sizzles in high drama, lingerie seduction from Alexandre Herchcovitch for Brazilian brand HOPE lingerie. Styled by Maurício Ianês, Valentina -- the first transgender model to cover Vogue Paris -- poses in classic lingerie bras and panties, bodysuits and chemises lensed by Michael Willian. 

Now: Valentina poses today in three covers for the January 2024 issue of Vogue Brazil. Since this lingerie post was written in 2017, Valentina has gone on to model regularly with Victoria’s Secret. The disparaging comments made by then VS CMO Ed Razek in 2019 about Sampaio’s trans status led to his departure from the troubled brand.

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss and [then] Angel Lily Aldridge clapped back online, stating that trans and gender non-conforming lives are not up for debate. Ouch!
