Photographer Mohamed Gaff captures Germany-based fashion designer Rayan Odyll’s love affair with multi-tone prints for spring 2012. Romanced as a luxe silk collection called ‘Cultural Limbo’ the prints were “developed from abstracted childhood memories, floral motifs and Polkadots”. Odyll’s peplumed, waist-accenting shapes express a luxe intellectual femininity, while his accessories season the mix with a sophisticated, exotic whimsy. Removable collars – also in unique prints – silk turbans and crystal jewellery, created in collaboration with “Seelenstück” by Lisa Eppel, complete the ‘Cultural Limbo’ vision, assembled in gorgeous visuals by Mohamed Gaff.
