Cuban-American Pop Star Camila Cabello Is Lensed By An Le For The Edit January 25, 2018

Cuban-American pop star Camila Cabello covers the January 25, 2018 issue of The Edit. Camilla is styled by Tracy Taylor in tropics-inspired looks from Versace, Zimmermann, Johanna Ortiz and more. An Le flashes Camila in 'Hot Right Now'.

In an unusually revealing interview with Lynette Nylander, Camilla Cabello talks about being the weak link in Fifth Harmony, the hot girlband she left in 2016 to pursue a solo career.

Camila explained that being in a group with four other girls - Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui - led to a sense of "healthy competition" between them and it had made her conscious of being the band's weakest link.

Being part of a group helped to "shape her" as a person, with the self-learning she experienced with Fifth Harmony.  'I would not be the person that I am right now; I would not have been ready for this. I feel like being part of a group teaches you so many things about yourself, ironically."

"You never want to be the one that sucks," Cabello claims. The remaining members of Fifth Harmony were "truly hurt" by her decision to leave the group, causing us to let sleeping dogs lie on what actually happened.
