Lady Gaga by Annie Leibovitz @ Vanity Fair January 2012 | "I've Never Felt Truly Cherished By A Lover'

Note | Nudity Reaction to Lady Gaga’s Vanity Fair January 2012 editorial by Annie Leibovitz has been WOW. From those who scream “I can’t take one more moment of Gaga; she is so over-exposed’ to those who scream “OMG, the most beautiful photos yet!’ , only the occasional misanthrope who cries ‘not one more laundry shot every again in fashion’ is denying Annie Leibovitz high praise in these superb images.

In striking admissions, Gaga tells Vanity Fair that her relationship track record is poor. “I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man.” After a strong beginning, relationships fizzle out.

“Then when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there, and it’s all unicorns and rainbows,” Gaga continues. “And then they hate me.”  Just to seal the interview deal, the influential, ubiquitous pop star adds: “I can buy myself a f***in’ ring.”

The singer revealed that one ex warned her that she’ll end up dying without friends and family, a lonely old woman. It seems Gaga is a bit young for those predictions, although he admits that her Alpha female personal can be intimidating to potential suitors.

“Perhaps it’s a “whose d**k-is-bigger” contest,” she considers. “If I go to the piano and write a quick song and play it back, they are angry with how fast and effortless it is… I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that’s what intimidates them is not my purse, it’s my mind.”

Gaga ends the interview with no apologies but also admitting that her relationships have been painful, adding “it’s a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone.”
