Film | 'Cloud Atlas' October 6 New Yorker Film Festival Debut

‘Cloud Atlas’ doesn’t open in theaters until October 26, the the film adaptation of David Mitchell’s best-selling novel is making the film festival circuit.

Following a Toronto International Film Festival debut, the movie will highlight the 2012 New Yorker Festival this coming weekend. Following the screening, Aleksandar Hemon will talk with the film’s writer-director, Tom Tykwer and Andy and Lana Wachowski.

Aleksandar Hemon, the author of the novels “Nowhere Man” and “The Lazarus Project”; the story collections “The Question of Bruno” and “Love and Obstacles”; and an essay collection, “The Book of My Lives,” which will appear in March 2013, wrote about ‘Cloud Atlas’ in the September 10th issue of The New Yorker.
