Spanish artist Jaume Olensa (see website) has installed two large-scale sculptures called ‘Together’ in Venice’s 400-year-old Church of San Giorgio Maggiore as part of the 2015 Venice Art Biennale. The two sculptures of a head and hand that work together represent the human relationship to space, size, and material. The stainless steel hand was formed using characters from eight different languages/ 

Claire Lilly is the curator of the entire display which includes drawings of the sculptor’s display, along with five alabaster portraits created with scans of real women. Each of the pieces in the exhibit are created to support the themes of light, human connection, and a unique sense of perspective.
