Trumplandia: Trump Receiving Twice Daily Propaganda Of Media Praise, Positive Tweets & Royal Bows

It seems logical that an informed administration representing all Americans would want an informed overview of the great, the good, the bad and the downright ugly news and op ed pieces written about them.

Not Trump!

Vice News reports that twice daily since Trump was inaugurated, a special folder is prepared for the president. The first document is presented as a feel-good acknowledgement of Trump's greatness at about 9:30 a.m. and the afternoon edition, around 4:30 p.m. Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer both sought the privilege of delivering the precious propaganda 20-to-25-page packet to President Trump personally, White House sources say.

The folders are crawling with screenshots of positive-only cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful. The president's fragile ego is not exposed to any negativity, as if Trump is living in the Magic Kingdom.

“If we had prepared such a digest for Obama, he would have roared with laughter,” said David Axelrod, the senior adviser to Barack Obama during his first two years in the White House. “His was a reality-based presidency.”

Trump is one sick puppy!

Trumplandia: Trump Berates & Disrespects Australia & Mexico Presidents In Leaked Phone Transcripts

We do not condone the leak to The Washington Post of Trump's calls to his Mexican and Australian counterparts. While Trump's egocentric me-me-me, disrespectful dialogue with our close allies is appalling, it's impossible for any government to function with his or her every word leaked to the press.

Having said that, the transcripts are disgusting to us and a reflection of an American president who has no diplomatic skills and no respect for our closest allies. He is a national embarrassment to about 70% of Americans, and his poll numbers are plummeting.

Trump can jet off for the second time in two weeks to West Virginia, where they love him.But working as closely with West Virginia progressives as HWN does, I can assure you that they are making major inroads into Trump's base.

When 'The Art of the Deal' was written, it was never taken seriously by the legitimate press as a business bible, rather than a fanboy book for Donald Trump. As a highest-level Fortune 100 exec who has negotiated with businesses all over the world, and holding one of the biggest brands in her design director hands, I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER treated my partners in other countries with the disrespect shown by Donald Trump. What a joke he is!!! Unfortunately, he is a joke that is doing very serious damage to the United States of America. Repairing it will take decades. ~ Anne

Rolling Stone Digs Deeply Into MSNBC Anchor Rachel Maddow & Her Dogged Pursuit of Trump Truth

Beware of women wearing pearls! Calif. Dem. Senator Kamala Harris reinforced that message last week (and Tuesday June 14, 2017) when she grilled Trump administration cabinet members in a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

This Vassar-ready blonde has morphed into the woman today known as Rachel Maddow, the openly-gay Rhodes scholar who arrived on the MSNBC cable news scene via progressive Air America Radio. 'The Rachel Maddow Show' is now the number-one prime-time news program on cable TV, a notable achievement for the woman who leads the resistance in the Trump era with a firm commitment to "increase the amount of useful information in the world".

Rolling Stone makes Rachel Maddow their cover girl, writing that in mid-May, 'The Rachel Maddow Show' was "second only to the NBC playoffs as the most-watched program on cable, period."

On the whiteboard behind Maddow's desk is a running, if haphazardly diagrammed, list of the stories she's thinking about, with the most important circled in blue marker. Perpetual favorites like Flynn and Trump's ex-campaign manager Paul Manafort hold a prominent place. Another name floating in its own blue circle: Viktor Medvedchuk, "a superclose-to-Putin oligarch" whose name recently turned up in intercepts for having had contact with the Trump campaign. "But we haven't talked about the fact that he was [also] one of the first individuals sanctioned by the U.S. government after the Crimea thing," says Maddow. "And so what is that guy doing talking to the Trump campaign during the campaign when he is one of the sanctioned individuals?"

We all know the truth: Rachel Maddow is relentless on the hunt to uncover all the relevant facts about connections between the Trump Administration and Russia.
