Chanel’s ‘Métiers D’Art’ Pre-Fall 2021 campaign features actor and Chanel brand ambassador Kristen Stewart. The campaign is lensed by Juergen Teller who joined Stewart at Chanel’s ‘Métiers D’Art’ fashion show held at the Château des Dames last December. In that COVID-19 moment, Stewart was the only guest.
The campaign represents the first time Juergen Teller has shot for Chanel. In a few words, the luxury house has gone rogue in this moment, moving away from Chanel’s predictable, highly-polished and refined images with few atmospherics and lots of detailed product closeups.
