The H&M collab with world famous Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukerjee will now be launching in Autumn 2020, but we don’t have a definitive date yet. The designer, who has deep ties with India’s world-renowned textile industry is a favorite with Bollywood stars including Priyanka Chopra.

The Sabyasachi x H&M collaboration themed “Wanderlust”, infused with a sustainable mindset, was scheduled to launch in April 2020 with a splendid media campaign launched on Vogue India. Then catastrophe struck in the form of COVID-19.

"When business as usual, becomes unusual, it's time for solidarity and resilience, to overcome the challenge as a community. The Sabyasachi X H&M launch, due April 16, stands rescheduled till we can come together and be together. Please await the further announcement," the designer said on his Instagram page earlier in the year.

Sabyasachi also gave hope to India’s talented weavers and workers on his Instagram page, with the same message generated by Li Edelkoort, speaking of our post pandemic world: Coronavirus offers “a blank page for a new beginning.”
