In 2020, Oxfam estimated that collectively the world’s 2,153 billionaires have more wealth than 60 percent of planet Earth’s population, wrote the British Journal of Photography in discussing the photography of Buck Ellison. Speaking about the visual imagery in his monography ‘Living Trust’, Ellison explained his photographic reality-check on the uber-wealthy.  “The rest of their lives are completely opaque to us”.
