Ali MacGraw Is 'Queen Of The Highway' By Pamela Hanson For Porter #23 Winter 2017/18

Ali MacGraw moved to her "little cottage" in Abiquiú, New Mexico, home to Georgia O'Leeffe, and about 75 miles from Santa Fe 25 years ago. A 1993 fire in her Malibu house was deemed by MacGraw as a strong nudge from the universe that it was time to leave Hollywood. Today the ingenue who captured hearts with actor Ryan O'Neal in 'Goodbye Columbus' is 78 and devoted to animal causes, her close social circle in Santa Fe of "grownup women -- women who don't strut around in the latest fashion and aren't afraid to let their hair go gray", and Ibu, a company that employees women artisans from around the world.
