In the fashion story, the two-time Grammy winner with four nominations launches a series of transmutations that seem almost other-worldly.

With candles, white birds and Louis Vuitton jewelry in the sink, it’s as if we’re entering an astral plane of being, postulated by classical, medieval, oriental, and esoteric philosophies and mystery religions.

The Spanish star morphs out of these transfixing images into her mutual admiration, Vogue Spain interview lovefest with Penelope Cruz: Oh, Penelope! Oh, Rosalía!

“I hope that what I do makes sense to other women”

These words are a core message of the interview, which got me thinking about Rosalía using feminine energy to try to dilute the male energy that is so destructive right now. Everywhere we look, testosterone is raging and we need an arion shield to repel it.

“As a good Libra I am always trying to balance the scales. If I feel that a masculine energy predominates in the world and I think I can counteract that, I will always try to put my mark. But also trying not to be afraid of irreverence because the important thing in the end is to be true to yourself as an artist.”

If only we could create our own global iron dome and when the terrorism lets loose, when the beheadings begin, the whipping, the killing, the rockets headed into civilian populations . . . we overpower it with an overwhelming global collective peace energy led by women, but welcoming to all, of course. What a thought from Rosalía. ~ Anne
