The pain of living as the ‘spare’ in a royal marriage — as Harry refers to himself in his upcoming book — and her constant scrutiny by the British press are legendary.

AOC always focuses on activism and philanthropy in our writing. Princess Diana was awesome and a true role model in this sector, willing to take on unknown or unpopular causes.

Diana is best known for her efforts to destigmatize HIV and AIDS patients. But she also won front-page covers in Angola in January 1997 and Bosnia in August 1997 to advocate for the clearance of landmines and also for innocent, maimed victims of landmines years later.

Prince Harry has continued Princess Diana’s efforts to cleanup the world of landmines through the HALO Trust. The organization has created a separate but totally collaborative unit in the USA, presumably because of Harry and Megan status. Ukraine is the latest nation to endure this horrific scourge on ordinary citizens of landmines seeded across the countryside.
