'Scandalous' Tinashe in Narcisse Magazine F/W 2022 Cover Story by Jason Kim

Fresh off her Oct. 9 appearance with Aimee Mann and Paris Jackson at producer/songwriter Linda Perry’s West Hollywood fundraiser for Equalize Her, Tinashe [IG] takes us inside her Narcisse Magazine F/W 2022 cover story.

Photographer Jason Kim [IG] captures Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe — known by her first name only — who is not new to the music world. Rafael Linares styles the music talent, with creative direction by Azadeh Zoraghi.

Born in America to college professor parents — mom from Scandinavia and dad from Zimbabwe’s Shona People — the family moved to Pasadena, California, after graduating from the University of Iowa.

Tinashe has been performing since she was about 11 years old. The most frequent descriptor AOC has read about Tinashe is that she is underrated. The talent did make the Forbes ‘30 Under 30- Music’ [2022] list.

Featured here is Tinashe’s current team up with Gryffin ahead of his sophomore album ‘Alive’. The scorching dance anthem is called ‘Scandalous’.
