Vogue Arabia's June 2023 Lavender Saudi Issue: 10 Covers, 10 Top Models, 10 Saudi Designers

Vogue Arabia steps out with a staggeringly well-done cover content presentation, given the state of modern media. The Saudi issue has obviously received additional funding, but this is a true celebration of talent and inspiring fashion magazine competence.

10 top models in 10 fabulous covers wear 10 Saudi designers. And ALL this info is expressed on the covers without looking like a trash heap. Wow!

The hues of color purple, violet and magenta are not lost on us, especially in June.

A quick search gives us probably 25 associations with the color purple including royalty, wealth and wisdom. AOC chooses its position as a chakra color — actually two purple-related hues as the third-eye chakra and the violet chakra.

Saudi Arabia has chosen lavender “identical to the color of the Kingdom’s deserts and plateaus in the spring,” the Saudi Press Agency declared in 2021 when it introduced the official hue for ceremonial celebrations. See Vogue Arabia.
