Shanelle Nyasiase in 'Magnétique' by Dan Beleiu for Numéro France #226

Two AOC favorites (Yes, we have them) Shanelle Nyasiase covers the November issue of Numéro France. Nyasiase is in a blue and blue-black mood, styled by Alba Melendo in Celine by Hedi Slimane, Chanel, Coperni, Givenchy, Moschino, Prada, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, Schiaparelli, Stella McCartney, Suot Studio jewelry, The Attico and more.

The African goddess meets up with Berlin-based photographer Dan Beleiu, who calls her ‘Bravest’ on his Instagram, sending me back into Shanelle’s history to see what I had forgotten. The answer is ‘nothing’ but I found a lovely interview by Innocent Ndlovu with the ‘Queen of the Butterflies’ on Industrie Africa. In the process of bringing myself up to date, I laughed out loud when Ndiovu asked Nyasiase:

WHAT KIND OF CHILD WERE YOU GROWING UP?

I was naughty and I used to beat my friends. That’s why my mom [then living in South Sudan] sent me to live with my grandmother [in Ethiopia].
