"It is this compulsion that made her — then a 23-year-old unknown — unexpectedly slap Leonardo DiCaprio in the face during her screen test for Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street (the slap got her the job)."

Robbie doesn't regret regret any of her movie roles, but she is increasingly aware of the social impact of her characters. ‘It is a weird thing, having a profile,’ she says, becoming quiet for the first (and only) time during our conversation. ‘It is hard because I would never have got to this position if I was trying to censor everything I did. I would never have an impact on anyone if I played perfect characters.’

As the female star of India's recent film 'Padmaavat', angry voices clamored for Padukone's death and disfigurement. A bounty was put on her head by a member of India's parliament, as riots threatened -- unsuccessfully -- to close down the film, which told the story of 14th Century Muslim emperor Alauddin Khilji's attack on a kingdom after finding himself smitten by the beauty of its queen, Padmavati, who belonged to the Hindu Rajput caste.

There was NO scene in the film in which the Muslim king dreams of sexual intimacy with the Hindu queen, but Hindu groups rioted anyway, based on the false rumor.

“It came from an insecurity and I turned it into something. I was insecure about my lips, and lipstick is what helped me feel confident,” Jenner explained to her beauty mogul sister. 

“It’s the most authentic thing I’ve done in my career, and it really relates to me, and I feel like people can tell that I’m super passionate about it,” Jenner said about her business endeavor. “I feel like people could see that it’s authentic to me, and it was organic, and it just worked!”

People love to mock the Kardashian women, but Forbes estimated Kylie's net worth at $41m in December 2017, while WWD estimated her 2017 lip-love and more sales from Kylie Cosmetics at $330m.
