Meet Brigitte Macron -- The Super Smart, Glamorous First Lady of France! Viva la France!

This is going to great, watching Brigitte Macron, France's new First Lady, who is a true modern woman, not living in the shadow of her husband but in concert with him. Like Melania Trump, Brigitte loves 'blue' and I'll bet she gets along great with Michelle Obama. My mind is racing on what these two ace women can do together. Obama gave a big endorsement to her husband, so expect the two couples to develop a deep personal relationship.

Forbes just profiled Brigitte Macron and also included what the haters -- lead by Marine Le Pen at this week's debate in terrible, personal insinuations -- have to say about their age difference.

“A menopausal Barbie,” sniff her detractors - mainly because she's 64 to his 39, the same age difference as that of President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania. The difference, of course, is that when a man has a younger wife, it appears to be an advantage while the reverse, with such large age difference, lays them open to insults, jokes, mistrust, and criticism.

”Oh, he came with his mom?”

“But, she's too old for him, right?”

“It's a little weird, this relationship, don’t you think?”

“What does he see in her?”

“He must be gay”

“No man can desire an older woman; that doesn’t happen”

“That's it, he must be homo. There can be no other explanation.”

These are comments frequently heard among the public, the media and especially in social media, recently published by Elle France magazine in an article denouncing French misogyny emerging from dark corners about the atypical potential presidential couple.

They also call her "cougar" and him "chouchou" which means teacher's pet."

“This visibly frightening societal abnormality of a younger man with an older woman happens while for millennia the opposite seems to thrill the whole Earth," Elle ponders. "Are we going to have to endure this macho, nerdy and rancid humor for a long time?”

The marriage of France's new first couple is an unusual one -- inspiring frankly.

Brigitte Macron, who made a staggering impression on her husband Emmanuel Macron as his literature teacher and a married mother of three.

Unlike Donald Trump, women are not a dime a dozen to Emmanuel Macron, who fell madly in love with the woman who became his life partner and wife. At age 17, Macron announced his intentions to marry Brigitte, born into a wealthy family of chocolatiers. Macron's parents were so concerned that they sent him away for his last year of high school.

The couple married in 2007. They have no children together but Macron says his wife's three children and seven grandchildren are his family.

Brigitte Macron often accompanies her husband on campaign stops, taking selfies and listening to people's concerns. She also helps prepare his speeches.

A fashion lover, Macron's style is often described as "modern" in French magazines. She sat in the front row at recent Dior and Louis Vuitton shows.

Brigitte Macron quit her job at a chic Parisian high school in 2015 to help her husband. Former students at the Lycee Saint-Louis de Gonzague describe her as an enthusiastic, dynamic, joyful person keen to share her passion for French authors. The couple is inseparable and Brigitte Macron will have a portfolio of responsibilities in the new administration.

As a first lady, she has said she will continue to focus on young people.
