One of our favorite models Helena Christensen was photographed by Michael Williams for the Octover 2007 issue. Helens grew up in Denmark winning the Miss Denmark crown in 1986. The daughter of a Peruvian mother and Danish father, Helena Christensen was one of the signature Victoria’s Secret Angels along with Tyra Banks, Karen Mulder, Daniela Pestova and Stephanie Seymour.

Most people don’t know that Helena Christensen was the creative director of Nylon magazine at its 1999 founding by publisher Marvin Scott Jarrett.  These Michael Williams images of Helena Christensen for GQ remind us of the bodies that launched true stupermodel status: lean, muscular and sensuous.
