Sensuality and raw sex appeal are core elements in the work of Rio de Janeiro-born Pino Gomes. Now living in Zurich with his wife, Gomes says that he was originally inspired by a Brazilian photographer Luis Tripoli.

When asked to share some of the best advice on becoming a good photographer, Gomes cites another photographer Vicente De Paulo from Rio. “ You need to review lots of images. Magazines, exhibitions, paintings, art books. You need to fill the brain with images. These will pop up when you will need them. Without observing and questioning you cannot create.”
