Dutch Photographer Aisha Zeijpveld's Damaged Humans Resonate

Aisha Zeijpveld adds to this morning’s heads burning editorials with this brief look at the Dutch artist’s creative works. Trendland writes:

In her What Remains? series, inspired by the work of Egon Schiele, she introduces a way of ‘sketching’ onto the photographs, outlining the figure in interesting ways and modifying body shapes to something slightly abnormal. In other portraits, such as her series Feast of Destruction, in collaboration with artist Aukje Dekker, she adds damage seemingly mechanically.
