I was a very, very bad girl today — spunky and irreverent.

In reality, I don’t know that even I would have the guts to publish Newsweek’s article about the Vatican’s ‘African priest problem’ that’s definitely not confined to African priests. The focus of the internal confidential document is nuns, priests and bishops in Africa, but the writer makes it clear that the problem is widespread and global.

As always the purity police is worried about my contaminating minds, but the facts of real life as documented in this private Vatican memo, and published by Newsweek, are far more damaging to people than anything I can ever write or imagine in my vividly creative mind. Anne
