X-posted at SN|Angels|No Wings Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr always appears to be the individual in the Angels group shots. We love this Aussie attribute in Miranda, one she brought to the table at this week’s ‘Victoria’s Secret What Is Sexy’ awards in LA.

Miranda took the opportunity to talk about individuality in women — a trait embraced by French women also, but not so much so in America, where we tend to be followers of the season’s “it” girl or celebrity. 

Self-love is the topic of Miranda Kerr’s new book on body image, Treasure Yourself, to be published later this year. “It’s about encouraging young women to embrace their individuality,” she says. “You may think it’s easy for me to say, but we all have insecurities. It’s important, as women, to get past all of that and let our talents shine.” via Elle.com
