Jana Wirth & Natalia Piro | Michael Donovan | Creem #3 | 'His + Hers'

Note | Nudity His + Hers is a superbly sensual editorial for Creem #3. Shot by Michael Donovan with styling by Katerina Simonova, the sensual duo of Jana Wirth & Natalia Piro play with our sexy minds on every level. Love the subtle twists in the evolution of images. Anne

I have been a fan of this site for about one year. (Wish I had found it before). I am unique, in my own way, but the photography and the message here are what move me the most. Anne, I can't thank you enough for your hard and laborious work...although, this is pure pleasure and hard for me to call work...laborious...yes...work??...no.
Please don't ever go away. Thank you so much and all of your contributing artists, women, photographers and models. Never miss a post!
With adoration
Mickey
Thanks so much, Mickey. The love has been flowing a lot this past month. Tough broad that I am, these messages move me to tears and give relevance to my life. The young photographers have been just amazing in their email tributes and I want to help the really talented ones deal with our very complex business world.
Our next phase will be to attempt to leverage our reputation to build collaborative projects and raise money for causes and artists on Kickstarter and IndieGogo, for which we will take a %. One of these days I gotta make some money to hire writers. I can't do any more now.
This young woman designer below makes fabulous jewelry from recycled materials, working with women in refugee camps in North Africa. This is a perfect project collaboration for me, working with a young artist, helping poor women and the planet. Because of my work at Victoria's Secret where I was head of product development and the fashion director, I know how to do these things.

This has been a dreadfully long haul and total rebooting of my life, but I think it will be wonderful in the near future. I also feel that I am being heard, particularly by Franca Sozzani of Italian Vogue. She is ripping back the curtains on one issue after another later, seeing how all these pieces fit together -- from fashion to flogging, control of women's bodies, etc. She was always an activist but she has made some dramatic turns in the last few months, ones that call today's fashion reality what it is.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Mickey. They mean everything to me. xoxo Anne
