When Grand put Linda Evangelista on the first-ever solo LOVE cover, it’s the tag line that got our attention: “After Taste — Celebrating the End of Elegance with Linda Evangelista.”

This Mert & Marcus editorial ‘The Misfits’ trends against that intellectual backdrop. Starring Saskia de Brauw, Linda Evangelista, John, Angus, Miles & Erik,  the images embrace Grand’s familiar theme of gender identity, transfluidity, male and female.  Provocation and transgression run deep in Katie Grand’s soul like a breath of fresh air.

Styled by the talents of Katie Grand, Mert and Marcus was inspired by punk artist Jamie Reid’s bright screenprinting.
