2013 Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival In Ocean City Taps Anne Enke As Solo Featured Artist

Anne Enke will be the solo featured artist at the 2013 Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival in Ocean City, NJ. Anne will use the publicity surrounding this honor awarded her by JoAnne Schauf and the jury committee behind the event to announce formally GlamTribale and Anne’s new affiliation with The Kibera School for Girls in Kibera, Kenya. The Kibera girls will receive 5% of GlamTribale revenues, while expanding GlamTribale’s original support of providing sanitary pads to keep girls in school.

Part of Shining Hope for Communities, The Kibera School for Girls will also become part of an ongoing fundraising effort led by Anne and GlamTribale, an effort not requiring a GlamTribale purchase.

The Ocean City Craft Shows on Ocean City, NJ’s historic music pier are also a philanthropic initiative, with all $3 entry donations and profits from booth rentals helping thousands of people and animal friends, too, in the Ocean City community.

Jam Gallery owners Melanie Fisher & Lynette ShelleyAnne Enke Joins JAM Contemporary Art Gallery in Malvern, PA

It’s with such great pleasure that Anne joins Malvern’s new JAM Gallery this evening, putting GlamTribale in a new location on Philadelphia’s Main Line.

JAM Gallery prides itself as being a “decidedly 21st-century addition to the quaint Victorian borough”, writes Caroline O’Halloran. There are no Chester County barns or covered bridges decorating the walls of JAM. Instead, mythology and imagination are at play in the gallery.

Anne developed these African Dancers Hope & Peace earrings, $40, for the Philadelphia Ballet’s early December Nutcracker Market, where she is a founding member. Today they are headed for JAM.
