Our GlamTribale Jewelry Is Never Flawless

A reader asked me why Anne of Carversville is green. Living in Carversville taught me that green is the most sensual of colors. Artist Nathalia Suellen agrees. View more of her work at Lady Symphonia.

Street Art Utopia shares  inspiration for guerilla gardeners. Here we have a magnificent image of “botanical art therapy” in Phuket, Thailand.

There’s a strong dose of urban/natural guerilla mentaility in our GlamTribale jewelry. Just last night I was fussing over the imperfections in one of the wooden beads used in our Isis Collection. It wasn’t the result of poor craftsmanship in any way, but the “natural way”.

In our over-Photoshopped world where everything is “flawless” — God, how I hate that word — and imperfection isn’t tolerated, we forget that in nature there are always dead blooms fading away at the feet of glorious new flowers.

GlamTribale Is Never Flawless

When we explore the majesty of nature, her sensuality and beauty are anchored in a reality that is old and new, used and fresh. I simply adore this repurposed greenhouse from the Homesteading and Survivalism Store.

We are employing the same concept in our beads and materials used for GlamTribale. The result is sophisticated but not flawless, mostly because our beads come from the hands of real people and nature’s creations. Our jewelry is not botoxed but recycled, repurposed — an act of redemption, another chance for castaways.

GlamTribale jewelry is designed to change lives and make a difference in the world. Supporting Planned Parenthood PA/US here in America and sanitary napking for young women in Africa, wearing GlamTribale jewelry is intended to be a beautiful reality check for Smart Sensuality women.

The collection is coming in weeks now, so bookmark our page and new website, and visit often. ~ Anne
