I’ve never said that one must view the video to appreciate the intense energy and free-spirited passion that went into a fashion editorial. Scratch that. The Kat Redner, aka @martialkat, photo shoot for the March 2019 issue of ELLE Bulgaria, shot by photographer Ben Cope, with video by Jeffrey Fountain, is an exception. Stylist Tiffani Rae chooses both girl glam and sporty looks mixes for Kat, who spent the majority of her warrior-goddess pose moments in an extreme trampoline routine. / Hair by Philip Carreon; makeup by Jeffrey Fountain

Is BBC's Massive Pay Gap Between Wimbledon Pundits Martina Navratilova & John McEnroe Justified

Tennis champion Martina Navratilova, winner of nine Wimbledon Ladies' championship trophies shares her furor over discovering the full extent of BBC pay discrimination in an interview airing Monday night, writes The Guardian.  In an interview for Panorama: Britain's Equal Pay Scandal, Navratilova reveals her shock when she discovered that John McEnroe is paid 10 times as much as she is for covering Wimbledon for the BBC.

Navratilova tells Panorama that she was paid about £15,000, while McEnroe's published salary revealed last summer is between £150,000 and £199,999.

Navratilova said she was told she was getting paid a comparable amount to men doing the same job as her, adding: “We were not told the truth, that’s for sure.” “It’s still the good old boys’ network ... The bottom line is that male voices are valued more than women’s voices,” she said, adding that her agent will ask for more money in the future.

BBC Sport defended the discrepancy, saying McEnroe’s role was of “a different scale, scope and time commitment”, to Navratilova, adding: “They are simply not comparable.”

USA Gymnastics Doctor Larry Nassar Sentenced To 175 Years Max For Sexual Crimes Against Female Gymnasts

This despicable doctor, the former team doctor for USA Gymnastics and team doctor at Michigan State University,  Larry Nassar does not believe he did anything wrong. I couldn't even work when Wednesday's drama began. Many current and former gymnasts, including gold medalists McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman and Simone Biles, say they are among the girls and young women sexually abused by Nassar under the guise of medical treatment.

Nasser pleaded guilty in November to seven counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Judge Rosemarie Aquilina ended the drama by sentencing Nassar to up to 175 years in prison, after 156 women and girls made victim-impact statements over seven days of court proceedings. The chief prosecutor, Michigan Assistant Attorney General Angela Povilaitis credited investigative reporters at The Indianapolis Star and former gymnast Rachael Denhollander for bringing Nasser's long-hidden crimes to light.

When Judge Aquilina read portions of Nasser's letter to the court, I gasped. Nasser made that classic comment about women "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." This criminal, sexual assaulter totally sees himself as a victim, agreeing he had child porn on his computers for years, but totally denying that he is a deviant, guilty of criminal behavior to these girls.

Seattle Storm Women's Basketball Steps Up For Planned Parenthood In New Relationship

Seattle Storm Women's Basketball Steps Up For Planned Parenthood In New Relationship

The ownership group of the Storm, Force 10, is planning a “Stand With Planned Parenthood” rally on July 18 in KeyArena’s West Plaza, along with continuing efforts to aid fund-raising for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands. Five dollars from the sale of each ticket for the game that day between the Storm and the Chicago Sky will be donated to the chapter. The Storm, one of the few professional teams owned by women, will also host a fund-raising auction.

There will be blowback, of course, but Seattle is a progressive city and even 50% of Trump voters polled and interviewed after the inauguration said that they did not want Planned Parenthood to be defunded.
