In Most Critical 2023 US Election Liberals, aka Democrats, Win Wisconsin Supreme Court by Wide Margin

Anne of Carversville backed and helped fund the April 4, 2023 victory of Janet Protasiewicz over the uber-conservative, 2020 presidential election-overturning candidate Dan Kelly for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

With 69% of the vote in, the proud liberal has 56% of the vote vs 44% for Kelly. The race became the most expensive state Supreme Court race in US history. Protasiewicz, a judge on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, was elected for a 10-year term.

The new court will determine the fate of abortion rights, the most gerrymandered state political maps in America and a range of voting rights issues in the battleground state for two years, including the 2024 presidential election.

Kelly lost his seat on the Wisconsin state Supreme Court in 2020 to liberal Jill Karofsky. Subsequently, he advised Republicans on legal efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential race through the use of “fake electors.”

Democrats from across America sent groundbreaking sums of money to support Protasiewicz, who was relentless in her attacks against Kelly for trying to overturn the 2020 results.

MAGA Republicans increasingly reveal the full range of their misogyny towards liberal women and Kelly is no exception. His male ego must be devastated over being beaten by two liberal women, two elections in a row.

These are his comments about Protasiewicz, after it was clear she had beat his pants off in Wisconsin last night.

For Democrats, the Gloves Are Off

Debating Republicans is no longer possible, and Democrats are more inclined than ever to take the gloves off and fight — not literally.

Collectively, we detest the lying bravado of Republicans like Trump and GA Congresswoman Marjorie Maylor Greene — or Dan Kelly in his abhorrent comments about the newly-elected Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge.

But we are done with the white supremacists and minority rule crowd.

Democrats Are Inhaling Fierce and Focused Anger at MAGA

It’s increasingly clear that Republican attempts to take full control of women’s bodily autonomy are being met with the most fierce resistance and out-loud verbal pushbacks America has seen in decades.

Collectively, we are ready to add out-of-control guns and the countless murders of America’s children by MAGA Republicans who refuse any and all forms of gun control as a bookend to our fight to reclaim our rights to body autonomy.

Voting rights are also embedded collectively in a determined drive led by American women, young people and grandparents, too, of every color in our great and diverse America.

Reports Wednesday are that more young people voted in the April 4th special election than voted in either the 2020 presidential election or the 2022 election.

I won’t say that Republicans don’t have enough guns to kill us all — because they do. But we intend to fight like hell for our young people and their futures.

So we had a great day in Wisconsin Tuesday, with a state Supreme Court win that has kept me up at night with worry.

Not bad, my friends. Not a bad day at all in our America. ~ Anne
