Australian model Aylah Peterson posed in images by Elizaveta Porodina [IG] to celebrate an archival Chaumet [IG] collection called ‘A Golden Age: 1965-1985’.

The installation was launched privately in Paris during late September 2023 and opened formally on October 5 during the Spring 2024 Women’s RTW fashion shows. It was extended in November and finally closed two days ago on December 2.

The art of colour is an integral part of Chaumet’s history, and the 1970s and 1980s saw the arrival of new harmonies which played with the opacity of hard gemstones such as lapis lazuli, malachite and carnelian, coupling them with shimmering yellow gold.

So committed to color were these decades that René Morin, director of Chaumet’s design studio, had a pink carpet laid in his office at 12 Place Vendôme.
