Arizona Muse | Inez & Vinoodh | Vogue Paris October 2011

The almost aristocratic Arizona Muse appears in a gaudy, rather tasteless jewelry editorial styled by Suzanne Koller for Vogue Paris October 2011. If Carine Roitfeld was behind the editorial, we would take the Inez & Vinoodh images as a tongue-in-cheeck, intellectual poke at conspicuous consumption.

With Alt at the Vogue Paris helm — and having criticized her jewelry editorial previously for being only about the big baubles and Modern values —  it seems that we’re to take this Monte Carlo mood but shot in Paris jewelry editorial seriously. Smart Sensuality women find this kind of conspicuous editorial mood almost repulsive in our challenged world.

Perhaps in Dubai this editorial plays well, but I suspect that even Queen Rania of Jordan and her friends in the Arab world would find it a turn off. Anne

Arizone is a great model,the new muse of the Designers but i think in this specific editorial she is not the best ever ,and she can be sttuning!!!
