We have a release of an Alessandra Ambrosio video by Jacques Dequeker, which is fascinating in its technical composition. Make no mistake. I like both Alessandra Ambrossio and Jacques Dequeker very much.

But looking at these ‘distinguished’ images from the July issue of Vogue Brazil, I wrote:

If Alessandra Ambrosio is ‘delving into a land of darkness and seduction’, photographed by Jacques Dequeker for the latest issue of Vogue Brazil, would someone please give her an eyemask. The shoot is beautiful; Ambrosio mannequin-perfect. But ‘darkness and secution’? Not in our playbook. via AOC

What a different impression we get of Alessandra Ambrosio in this video, from her Vogue Brazil images. I remain confused but agree that perhaps Alessandra Ambrosio expressed more sensuality in the shoot than emerged in the images.

Vogue US, I expect these static images, but not from Vogue Brazil.A very different Alessandra Ambrosio emerges in the video — which may be a great remake to counter considerable ho humming around this editorial from a prominent photographer, who is a friend to women.
