Gilles Bensimon Flashes Media Mogul & Lingerie Entrepreneur Heidi Klum For Maxim US May/June 2018

German supermodel Heidi Klum rocks on at age 44, mom of four kids and businesswoman with a strong preference for younger men. The former Victoria's Secret star recently responded to haters who say she's too old to model her lingerie line Heidi Klum Intimates.

Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres, Heidi, who earned a whopping $21 million in 2017, asks why she should hand the modeling baton to someone else -- and especially for her own lingerie brand. " I always think there's a lot of women my age 50, 60, 70. What, do we have an expiration date? Can we not also still feel sexy? I feel sexy," Heidi said. The businesswoman behind 'Project Runway', 'America's Got Talent, and 'Germany's Next Top Model' explained that she has nothing against 20- or 30-year-old models, but asks: "Why can't older women also be in campaigns? So I'm still doing it."

Speaking with Maxim, Heidi stresses her own pursuit of perfection as a "multi-hyphenate", while admitting that life is just plain "Messy". You just "hope for the best," she says. "You try to juggle and hope you don't drop a ball. If I do, I don't beat myself up for it -- I pick it up and try again."

Heidi Klum is lensed by Gilles Bensimon in 'The Mogul Model', styled by Caroline Christiansson for Maxim Magazine May/June 2018.
