A Man Who Loves Women

Why Fawn Over Imperious Fashion Designers When We Have Choices? AOC Body & Culture

No matter how talented one is, a designer must generally embrace the customer. Any self-respecting designer doesn’t embrace the WHOLE world of women — or men — but there comes a point when the line of client acceptability is drawn so narrowly that a brand moves from exclusivity in its DNA to absurdly unreasonable and comical, actually.

The situation is ridiculously amusing to see humans turning themselves inside out to please egomaniac designers who deride them. For not being this kind of designer, we love Tom Ford.

Breasts Not Bombshells

Tom Ford Embraces Natural Breasts, Not Bombshells AOC Body & Culture

How fascinating! Just yesterday we posted Crystal Renn’s saucy comments about enjoying the feeling of not wearing underwear.

Tom Ford tells Vogue: “The seventies is what I love. Soft, touchable beauty is what I love. I want to be touching the skin; I prefer no bra — I want to be able to slip in my hand.”

Oh Tom! Can you imagine Karl Lagerfeld making such a statement!

I rest my case to Victoria’s Secret: we are TIRED of bombing up the world. We want to be Snake Charmers not bombshells.  Glad to see that Tom Ford agrees with me. Anne

Tom Ford’s Jeunes Filles

Tom Ford | ‘Jeune Fille Innocente’ | Vogue Paris December 2010 Anne’s Sensually Yours

Of all the Vogue Paris December 2010 Tom Ford editorials, ‘Jeune Fille Innocente’ could be the most offensive to the French, and I can understand why.

France isn’t known for dressing its children in rouge lipstick, before sending them off for a bikini wax. Unlike America, which considers women over the hill at 30, France celebrates older woman and the totality of a woman’s life cycle.

These images are an absolute reflection of youth culture in America. Tom Ford is a visionary and never one to ignore an opportunity for provocation. Is he false? I think not.
