In Michigan, despair has bred particularly bold action on the subject of a green economy. Under the leadership of Democratic Michigan governor Jennifer, the state had the third-highest number of clean-tech patents in the last decade, surpassed only by california and New York.
In the share-out of Washington’s stimulus bill on August 5th, Michigan won more grants for electric cars than any other state.
