Proposed Georgia Law Targets Abortion Doctors in Poor Communities

RedTracker| Abortion providers in Georgia could go to jail for 10 years if it can be proven that they assisted in a woman seeking to terminate the pregnancy of a female or black child. While the effort is focused on abortion clinics in black neighborhoods, presumably Latinos, Asians and all other racial identities are involved in the legislation.

The effort was initiated by a black couple who founded the Radiance Foundation, which is now backed by the pro-life movement. We highlight them and Sistersong, the group leading the fight against the proposed legislation. Read on in Women Rebels.
