HopeTracker| In a Pew Research Study released yesterday, Global Warming came in dead last as a top citizen priority for 2010.
Only 28% of respondents listed it as a top priority, the lowest response since the survey began in 2007, when 38% listed global warming as a top priority. Among Republicans just 11% consider global warming a top priority, compared with 43% of Democrats and 25% of independents.
In a separate entry, 44% of respondents listed Protecting the Environment, down from 63% in 2001 and 57% in 2006. Only 49% say that dealing with the nation’s energy problem should be a top priority, down from 60% last year and 58% in 2006.
At the top of the list were economy, jobs and terrorism — top priorities and not nearly as partisan. via Pew Research Center.
