GreenTracker| Scientists believe that motorized cages that mimick the movements of wild schools of fish may produce greener, healthier and more numerous fish, at a time when the worlds’ fisheries are unable to replenish themselves.
Deepwater cages offer cleaner, more freely circulating ocean water and natural food — all good benefitis for fish and humans. However the cages aren’t nearly as accessible to humans. Scientists say that “smarter,” self-sufficient cages could be the key. via National Geographic
