Drug Prices Rise 9 Percent as Consumer Price Index Decreases

HopeTracker| Drug makers have raised prescription drug wholesale prices by 9 percent this year, adding $10 billion to the nation’s drug bill. It’s the highest annual rate of inflation since 1992 and comes at a time when the Consumer Price Index has dropped by 1.3 percent.
