Carnegie's Foreboding 2100 Estimates on World's Tropical Forests

GreenTracker| The Carnegie Institution’s Department of Global Ecology predicts that by 2100 only 18-45% of the plants and animals making up the ecosystems in global, humid, tropical forests will remain as we know them. Theirs is the first study to combine new deforestation and selective logging data with climate-change projections. The study is published in the August 5, 2010, issue of Conservation Letters.
