'Women in the World' Converge in New York

http://bit.ly/93xKH4

Updated Sun. Mar.14, 2010. BRAVO Tina Brown! This conference was simply stupendous and the beginning of a strong initiative for the world’s women. We’re 110% committed to supporting the speakers in New York this weekend, and their projects. We’re written about many of these women and will be installing our reads and their videos from ‘Women in the World’ in the right-hand column, throughout about 50% of Anne of Carversville. We will also always prominently feature one of the videos and new ones to come on our front page and all topic blogs. AND we’ll drop them into the blogs, so readers will discover the stories and videos as part of their reading experience. Thanks everyone who gave us so much ammunition to tell these stories. Anne

OK. Close your eyes and pretend that an amazing group of mostly women is coming together in New York tomorrow. Let’s see. Who would be there. Being totally impartial, of course, I want:

Queen Rania Read all Queen Rania

Hillary Clinton Read all Hillary Clinton

Wait, I’m not dreaming!!!  A most incredible group of women IS coming together in New York — along with a couple of the very good guys — at The Daily Beast’s Women in the World conference starting tonight.
