Wed, August 5, 2009 The first messages out of TEDGlobal 2009 are that this new community will convene annually in Oxford, with webcast gatherings around the world. TEDGlobal intends to give the conference equal status with the annual California conference.
TEDGlobal website linkTEDGlobal has already released several presentations including surprise speaker UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown talking about politics in the Twitter age.

We’re TEDsters at Anne of Carversville. If you haven’t experienced TED, connect please now. Come back later this week, when one of our favorite people, Biomimicry author Janine Benyus urges designers and engineers to ask themselves: What Would Nature Do?
Gordon Brown: Wiring a Web for Global Good
Read: Biomimicry: 3.8 Billion Years of R&D. For me this TEDTalk totally reoriented my thinking about design. Anne
